Creating a skincare brand isn’t just about offering products—it’s about building a vision, a personal journey, and above all, a commitment to something that can make a difference in people’s lives. For me, that journey began with my own struggles with sensitive skin and constant battles with body acne, acne, and ingrown hairs. I knew firsthand how important it is to find a skincare solution that was not only effective but gentle, nourishing, and free from harmful chemicals. That’s how Herr Cosmetics was born—a brand rooted in the belief that skincare should be as pure and natural as the skin it cares for.

 

 

the struggles with sensitive skin:

From a young age, I’ve battled with sensitive skin. The combination of body acne, breakouts, and ingrown hairs made it feel like no matter how much I tried, I couldn’t win. I experimented with all kinds of products, from store-bought acne treatments to high-end skincare lines, but nothing seemed to work long-term. Instead of improving, my skin would react—becoming irritated, red, and often, even more inflamed. My personal struggles with skincare led me to realize that the root of the problem wasn’t just my skin’s sensitivity; it was the products I was using. Many skincare solutions on the market contain harsh chemicals, fragrances, and synthetic ingredients that can exacerbate skin issues, rather than soothe them. I wanted to create a line of body care products that would help individuals like me—people who deal with sensitive, reactive skin—while ensuring that the ingredients were not only gentle but effective.

 

Why Herr Cosmetics?

Herr Cosmetics was created out of a need for change. My mission has always been to provide a skincare line that prioritizes the health of the skin with products that are:
